Another Day....Another Outfit

On  my last day in Birmingham the weather was wonderful, so I decided a sundress would be perfect. I picked this dress up at Target recently and I love it. The best part of all, it has pockets! I love a sundress with pockets. I also love the navy and pink strips and how soft the fabric is. If you are visiting Target, I suggest you check out all of their sundresses.

Go with the flow

I love this outfit. It is so relaxed, yet pulled together at the same time. I love the flow of both the skirt and the top. I also love the super soft fabric of both pieces. I picked up the shoes a couple of days ago on one of our shopping trips in Birmingham.

Callaway Day

I am still visiting my parents in Birmingham this week. Yesterday my mom and I drove down to visit my sister in Georgia and ride bikes at Callaway Gardens. If you are not familiar with Callaway Gardens, it's in Pine Mountain Georgia. The gardens were so beautiful and we were excited to find out that it was peak week for the flowers. We had so much fun riding around the gardens and the lake. I am sure we looked pretty funny too. I know for me it had been a while since my last bike ride!:)

Birmingham

I am in Birmingham visiting my family for the week. I arrived very late last night, so today was the first of many shopping days! The day started off rainy and humid, but by the afternoon the sun came out and it was beautiful.

Cherry Blossoms

Yesterday Jeff, the pups, and I headed downtown to see the cherry blossoms. This is the peak week for the cherry blossoms in D.C. The tree were so beautiful and we had a great time just walking around and enjoying everything. The pups definitely had a good time too. We had a bunch of people ask if they could have their picture taken with Shilo, our husky! It was a perfect day to be downtwon, and the cherry blossoms only made it better.

Eastern Market

Over the weekend Jeff and I headed to Eastern Market in the Capital Hill neighborhood of D.C. Eastern Market is a farmers market and arts and crafts show. If you are planning to visit D.C. I highly recommend you stop by Eastern Market. The best day to go is Saturday, but it is open everyday except Monday. Another nice thing about the market is that it's surrounded by cafes, shops, and great places to enjoy brunch. It is so much fun to stroll around with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the environment. While we were at the market, we stopped by the best crepe place in all of D.C. Crepes at Eastern Market is a definitely stop while visiting the market. Jeff and I decided on a crepe with strawberries, bananas, and nutella. We also got a crepe with eggs, bacon, spinach, and cheese. They were both so good!! While we were at the market we picked up some apples, broccoli, asparagus, strawberries, blackberries, and a pear. Jeff and I love visiting Eastern Market, it is one of our favorite things to do in the city.

Friday Fun Day

Today Jeff and I headed to the Air and Space Museum for Friday Fun Day. We had planned to go see the cherry blossoms downtown, but since it was kind of rainy we decided on something indoors instead. I hope everyone had a fun Friday!

March Birchbox!

I love opening the mail box and finding my bright pink Birchbox sitting there. I get so excited to open it and see what goodies are waiting for me. My March Birchbox did not disappoint. I have tried the shampoo, perfume, moisturizer, cleansing cloths, and one of the teas. I think that is pretty good for only having the box  three days now:) I have not tried the nail polish yet, but I am sure I will love it. You can't do much better than a pretty pink polish. I love Birchbox and highly recommend you check it out!

Tybee Island

Just thought I would share some of our photos from Tybee Island. Jeff and I headed to the beach on the last day of our trip to Savannah. We cannot visit Savannah without visiting Tybee. If you are in Savannah you must go out to Tybee Island. It's about a 20 minute drive from downtown Savannah. I love Tybee Island for so many reasons. The beaches are never crowded and there are no high rise condos. What could be better than that? It is the perfect beach community.

Here are some more photos Jeff and I took in Savannah. The coke float (so yummy) in the second picture is from Leopold's. It is a very old ice cream parlor downtown, across from the Savannah College of Art and Design's library for those of you who might be interested. Savannah In Pictures.....Part I

Sadly Jeff and I had to leave Savannah and head back home to D.C. We had such a fun time in one of our favorite cities in the world. If you have not had the pleasure of visiting Savannah Georgia, I highly recommend you plan a trip. There are so many fun things to see and do while you are there. Not to mention all of the amazing food you get to enjoy. Even though we had to leave, I know Jeff and I will be back to Savannah soon enough, and I can't wait!

At the Seashore

Today Jeff and I spent the day at the beach, Tybee Island to be exact. We LOVE Tybee! It is one of our favorite places in the world. We walked on the beach, looked for shells, and ate at the North Beach Grill (another favorite spot). After lunch we headed over to the Tybee Island Lighthouse.
