Makeup Collection

     I love makeup! I love high end makeup like YSL and drugstore brands like Covergirl and Maybelline. I  love sitting in front of my mirror everyday and doing my makeup. I am always changing up my look. I change things like my blush, eye shadow, and lipstick from day to day. There are a few things that always stay the same like my liquid foundation, concealer, and setting powder. Not only do I love makeup, but I also love makeup brushes. Makeup brushes are essential tools to applying makeup properly. When it comes to a smokey eye, you must have the right kind of brush in order for the look to work. There are high end brands as well as inexpensive brands of brushes. I love my Sonia Kashuk brushes just as much as I love my MAC and Sigma brushes. Makeup and brushes do not have to cost a fortune, you can always find great eye shadows and mascara at Target or Walgreen's. Not only do I enjoy makeup, but I love all that I have learned about makeup from other beauty bloggers like Sassy Gal Glamour and Makeup By Tiffany D. They helped me expand my knowledge and my love of makeup!

My Room!

Ahhh.....my room, I love it! When Jeff and I moved into our home we had an extra bedroom that I turned into my "closet room". It is where I go every morning to get ready for the day. I have a large mirror that I do my makeup and hair in front of everyday.  I have two chests where I keep a lot of my clothes along with the actual closet. When I was setting up my closet room I knew I wanted it to be fabulous and functional. It serves it's purpose very well. I have everything I need in one place. Besides function I wanted it to be stylish. I have a few of my paintings hanging on the walls, along with my Andy Warhol prints of Marilyn Monroe. I have a comfy place to sit and fabulous curtain (designed by my talented mother) which add to the rooms charm. Some days when the house is quiet I will just hangout in my closet room. I turn up my music (an essential in every good closet room) and have my very own fashion show. I love having a special place all to myself that is fun and fabulous!

MAC Meets Wonder Woman!!

MAC's highly anticipated Wonder Woman collection is here! I have been waiting for this collection like I waited for their Venomous Villains collect a few months ago. I was so excited when I walked into the MAC store and saw the gorgeous collection on display. Who doesn't love Wonder Woman? She is fierce, fabulous and a force to be reckoned with. First off the collections packaging is amazing! All of the products look like they came right out of a comic book. There are a lot of great products in the collection including lipsticks, mineralize skinfinishes, eye pigments and mascaras ranging from electric blue to a beautiful eggplant color. I purchased two products in the collection, the mineralize skinfinish in Pink Power and a lipstick in Marquise D'. The skinfinish in a baked triple color powder. The three colors are a combination of beautiful bronzy pinks. The lipstick is of course a nude with hints of dusty pink. I love the two products I bought and cannot wait to try them out!

My Style

  I do not have one set style. I love to change up my look from day to day depending on my mood. I would say that my style is eclectic:) In the Summer I love colorful boho chic maxi dresses and during the winter months I tend towards a lot of black with a little edge. I love structured handbags, slouchy handbag and well let's face it every handbag in between! I have read all of the fashion books and magazines that try to tell you what your personal style is. The choices range from preppy to classic to bombshell. I like to think of myself as little bit of everything. I love the relaxed yet pulled together look of a Ralph Lauren polo with a great pair khakis and the elegant feel of an LBD (little black dress) with a pair of fabulous heels. I guess what I am saying is that my style A.D.D. strikes again! I never stick with one look for very long. I am ever changing and ever evolving my style because fashion to me is not about fitting into the mold, it is about breaking the mold and being creative with the clothes you wear.

Eau De Parfum.......My perfume collection with a few favs!

I love perfume. I remember the very first perfume I purchased about 12 years ago and the bottle is still on my tray today. It was Calvin Klein's Truth and I bought it at the Sephora store in Lenox Mall. I remember walking up and down the long wall of fragrances and smelling what seemed like a million different perfumes before deciding on the Calvin. Today, a few of my favorite perfumes are my Chanel No. 5, my Couture Couture by Juicy, and Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb. I love perfumes because they are romantic and very womanly. I know some people say you should stick to one perfume and that be your signature fragrance, but I love being able to spray my Dior Addict one day and my Flowerbomb the next. It is my style A.D.D! I plan to add Miss Dior Cheri and Tom Ford's Black Orchid to my perfume collection very soon. Not only do I love the way fragrances smell, I love the beautifully designed bottles they come in. I have a few empty perfume bottles on my tray today that I cannot part with because they are so fabulous. I say all of this because I love perfume and I will continue to love perfume for the way it makes me feel everyday.

Shoes Shoes Shoes

Shoes, need I say more. About six months ago I went shoe shopping at the Zappo's outlet with a great friend. Needless to say, when I walked into Zappo's huge space I was in shoes heaven. All I saw were rows and rows of fabulous shoes, Kate Spade, Elizabeth and James, DVF and Prada. We shopped for 4 hours and I finally decided on 4 amazing pairs of shoes. I had the best time shopping with my dear friend and I can't wait to go back!
