CHOCOLATE.....

.....need I say more?


Jeff and I treated ourselves last night to these pot de crèmes. I found the recipe in the February issue of Food Network magazine. The issue is dedicated to all things chocolate, which of course is fine with meJ . The pots de crèmes are a Ree Drummond (better known as The Pioneer Woman) recipe. It was quick and easy to make, but unfortunately they had to chill in the refrigerator for several hours before we could enjoy them. I think I checked on them about every 30 minutes to see if they were set up enough to eat. The pot e crèmes were so yummy however; I think the recipe needed to be tweaked a little. I would have liked them to be firmer. I think the next time I try this recipe I will add whipped cream and egg whites to the pot de crèmes, which will add air and help to set up better. Overall we loved the recipe, I mean what is better than eating a little bowl of chocolate!
