Ulta Haul & Review

For Christmas I received a gift card for Ulta from my mom. Naturally I was excited to use it since a lot of the cosmetic companies have released new products within the last few months. I knew I wanted to check out the new Maybelline Color Tattoo pots. I picked of three of the colors. They had quite a good size collection with colors ranging from neutrals like gray and brown to more funky colors like orange and blue. I also grabbed a couple of the new Revlon Lip Butters along with some other great products. I have several shots of the products with swatches below, enjoy!!

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Busy Signal; Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Cream Shadows in Audacious Asphalt, Too Cool, and Bad to the Bronze .

 I love the formulation of both the Maybelline eyeshadow pots and the Benefit pot. I already have several of the Benefit eyeshadow pots and love them, so I knew I would enjoy the new shade. The formulation of the Maybelline Color Tattoo pots is thick and creamy, which is perfect for using as an eyeshadow base or just on its own. I went with the more neutral shadows to be sure I liked them, before I bought more of the funky colors. The best part of all was of course the great price, they were only $6.99 and at Ulta all of the Maybelline products are buy one get one half price! Overall I am very impressed with the new Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo shadows.

Next are the Revlon Lip Butters, which are AMAZING! I picked up two colors to make sure I liked them before I went crazy and bought the entire line. I cannot say enough good things about these lip butters. They come in a huge range of colors and are super pigmented and super moisturizing. I picked up two lip butters, one in the color Creme Brulee, which is a creamy nude and Sweet Tart, which is a bright pink.

I also found a couple of beautiful NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils and a NYX Slide On Glide On Eyeliner. The Eyeliner is in the shade Pretty Violet and the Jumbo Pencils are in the colors Lavender and Purple Velvet. I love the creamy consistence of both the pencils and eyeliner. I am also excited about the rich shades of purple. When it comes to my eye makeup I am pretty neutral, except when it comes to purple eyes. I love a great deep smoky purple eye. I am excited to try these and all of the other products I found. The two other products in the first shot that are not mentioned in my review are the Covergirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Very Black and the Orly polish in Oh Cabana Boy. I love both of these products and are excited to try them. Maybe my next nail of the day will be with this very pink polish! Thanks mom for the gift card!:)
